One black bag, please!

I feel so tired. Being sick really makes you feel like you could use a little R&R. But hey, I’m breathing through my nose again, my lungs are no longer trying to escape from my body, and I can touch my face – no problem. Yeah, that last one may sound a bit weird, I know. But when I have a cold I can’t touch my face, well obviously I can, but when I do it feels like I can’t breathe. Not a feeling I’m a big fan of, so I try to touch my face as little as possible. Just washing with water is awful, but today I scrubbed and everything. Wonderful! Just wished I had a body scrub, but I’m going shopping so maybe I should look for one. Or make one myself. I have a book from Ole Henriksen at home right now, I think there’s one in there.

Anyway, goal for today is buy a black bag. I recently realised I don’t have one. Actually that’s a lie, I just don’t have an everyday bag that’s black. I have a big one that goes across the body, which is perfect for some situations. And then I have a black Louis Vuitton Epi Mabillon bag, not really an everyday bag. The real stuff, not a replica. Wanna show a photo of it, but I’ll put that in later. (Found one, it might be a replica though, but you’ll get the idea)

Especially not good with a winter coat. And since my winter coat is black with blue stripes, I need a black bag. So I’m hoping to find a nice, affordable one (think cheap as chips). Experiencing a lack of money, and I’m ordering an iphone later today.

Gotta leave soon, and actually I should be putting makeup on right now, so please someone tell me to get up and get going.

Hej Hej,

Dianna B.

Ok, so I just wanted to do a quick follow-up on this post. Was I successful in finding an affordable black bag? I was. I knew I wanted it to be big, the kinda bag you can just throw lots of stuff into, and I wanted it to feel comfortable when carrying it over your shoulder. It’s so annoying when it feels like the bag is slipping all the time. Anyway, I ended trying to decide between a bag from Friis & Co. (got several bags from them, and some really fancy shoes) and a bag from Dixie. The price was the same, but the Dixie bag “sat” better on the shoulder.

Both Friis & Co. and Dixie are danish companies. Dixie you should be able to buy in all of scandinavia. And Friis & Co. in all of Europe, Canada, China, Japan and I think a few other places as well. Not in the US, but I’m guessing that’s just a matter of time. They got loads of cool stuff. I’ll try to do a post on them one day, share what I got from them, and if I remember correctly I think my mom got at least one bag from them as well.

Totally forgot to look for a body scrub yesterday, but I think I wanna try and make my own. The Ole Henriksen book didn’t have one, only the coffee grind suggestion. But I wanna make one where I don’t have to use it all at once. If you’ve never tried scrubbing with coffee grinds, then try it. You can use the coffee grinds on its own, all over your body, or maybe just on your hands. The book suggests combining equal amounts of coffee grinds and brown sugar. And then add enough sesame oil, to make a thick, soft paste. And it’s supposed to be really good for fighting cellulite. Used 3-4 times a week, and you should get great results.

So instead of buying body scrub I ended up buying new boots. Is it any wonder that I’m broke? Well, I have been looking for some sensible black boots, as I don’t have any. Well, I have black boots, but not sensible ones. So I found these. Vagabond Muscat boot

They’re from Vagabond, a swedish shoe company. This style is called Muscat. But you can get it in all of Europe. I’ve bought several shoes and boots from them, and I’ve always been very happy with them. You might not think they look very sensible, with the heel, but to me they are. Just look at the sole. And I’m not a big fan of flats, I’m just not tall enough for them. I like a bit of heel. And a lot of heel.

That’s it. Next week, I’ll try and make a body scrub. No time for it this weekend.

Have a great weekend!
